Where to Find Gluten-free Coupons

Since going gluten-free, the one consistent thing I hear from people is “wow, that diet has to be so expensive!”

Yes, there is some truth to that. I’ve had many tear-filled conversations with my husband about the cost of food. To be honest, when I gave up gluten to stop my inflammatory attacks, all I was focused on was keeping gluten out of my body. I had so much to learn. Now that I’ve been gluten-free for quite some time, I am able to make meals with ease and I’m able to focus more of my attention on coupons and saving money.

I usually log on once a week and browse a few of my favorite sites for GF coupons. Initially, this took some time on the front end to find sites that actually offered gluten-free items. But, as time has went on I have found several sites that have some great coupon databases.

My system is not much different from the average couponing woman. The only difference is, I am hunting for specific coupons so I had to sort through about 80% of the coupons to find anything worth keeping. Don’t let that discourage you though. Finding gluten-free and even organic coupons is a lot more work, but totally do-able.

Because more and more food companies are producing gluten-free options, more GF coupons are popping up on the main stream sites, like Coupons.com, Redplum and SmartSource. Even if you visit a traditional coupon database site, try  a keyword search for “gluten-free” coupons, you may be surprised!

Below are a few of the sites I log on to frequently. Some of these sites are more than just a couponing database, they also offer money-saving tips and tricks for those of us with special diets.

Surviving the stores – This link takes you to their GF coupons page.
Living Rich With Coupons – Gluten-free & organic coupons
Mambo Sprouts – offer coupon books for Whole Foods & other stores
Fabulessly Frugal – Great GF coupons page!
Common Kindness – Printable coupon site for GF and organic/healthy foods
BeFreeForMe – You can sign up for specialty coupons like gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, etc.
Frugal Living – website dedicated to saving money on real food
Coupon Divas – Gluten free coupons page
Couponing101 – Organic & gluten-free coupons

There are also several coupon clipping services out there that offer gluten-free coupons as well. You can search their site for specific coupons (example: Udi’s Bread) in multiple quantities for a small clipping  fee. I don’t buy Sunday papers anymore since most of the coupons are irrelevant to my lifestyle. I also search eBay for coupons if they are a high dollar coupon worth snatching up (like $1.00 off organic yogurt)!

Here’s just a small list of GF coupons that popped up on a quick search (printable – as of 3.31.14)
Dellalo Coupon - $1/1 Dellalo Gluten-Free Pasta
Rudi’s Coupon – $1/1 Rudi’s Gluten-Free products

Aside from dedicated couponing & clipping websites, there are a plethora of gluten-free brands that offer coupons directly on their websites or social media sites. Just visit their page, join their mailing list or “like” them on Facebook and they will often send coupons just for signing up!

Examples:

Glutino
Eden Foods
Bakery On Main
San J Tamari (Soy Sauce)
Stonyfield Organic Yogurt
Udi’s Gluten Free Bread
Rudi’s Bakery
Mary’s Gone Crackers
Enjoy Life (cookies, desserts)
Applegate Farms
Annie’s Natural
Arrowhead Mills
Pamela’s Products
Bob’s Red Mill
Kinnikinnick Foods Inc

Another great source for me is my local Kroger store. Because I have a loyalty card with them, they send me personalized coupons monthly. The coupons are geared towards healthy, gluten-free, GMO-free products. They track my buying habits and send coupons based on that. I love it! If you have a local store that offers gluten-free products, see what kind of coupon/loyalty program they offer. You never know what you may be missing out on!

Happy couponing!
